Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I made changes to the upper part of the pattern from burda magazine. I wanted this dress to have a V-neckline in the back and a baudeau neckline in the front. I removed the soulder sleeves, and it also needed little seams at bust line in the front.
It is so well-mannered that it reminds me only of Anne of Green Gables ;)

I am glad there are other lovers of "Anne"out there. I just rewatched the three movies on tv recently which took me right back to my childhood. I think perhaps i also need to make an “Anne” inspired dress.

Well I read through all parts in high school, my friends were joking that these are for kids not for girls that age… but I still have a specific fondness of Anne :)

Thank you so much. Sewing this fabric is annoing at times, as you see all mistakes when one seam isn’t perfectly symmetrical with another… :)

Love it! It fits you perfectly. I hope to someday get my dresses to fit like that. I also love Anne of Green Gables. My all time favorite. In fact, I just named my duct tape dress form “Cordelia” after Anne! Ha ha.

The fitting part is always horrible. I don’t have a manikin, so I do the pinning only on my body… my skin doesn’t like it :P
