Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Made using Vogue Pattern V1178: Fitted, above mid-knee, lined, wrap dress with pleated sleeves, contrast neck ruffles, underskirt and ties, very narrow hem.
I wish I’d known about the magical creature known as the NARROW HEM FOOT! I don’t think I’ve ever pinned so much in my life, as a matter of fact, I know I haven’t! I’m really happy with it considering it’s my 1st dress from a pattern & my 2nd dress ever! Blogged here.

The instructions were pretty clear, the only thing I could possibly suggest is to use your narrow hem foot! If your machine came with one, that is… though I think they’re pretty standard. It’ll save you a WHOLE LOT of time and energy. Pinning the skirt, underskirt and the lining seemed to take forever! Can’t wait to see how yours turns out :)

Oh, no, I totally got them both from JoAnn! My local store actually had a good amount of chiffon/chiffon like fabrics on sale so I super lucked out :)
