It’s a very pretty dress and the fact that you didn’t use a pattern and yet came out with such results is commendable!

Thanks! It went together well, just draping it on the model, plus a few fittings. I loved making the bubble skirt, it came out really nicely. I’ve never worn one myself but I might have to try it!

This is great for no pattern – I’ve been hanging out for a one shoulder dress forever. Got a pattern that gives you diffent tops, waistbands and two lengths in skirts…. but they are straight and the bubble here looks fantastic. If I wasn’t making it out of animal print denim (sounds odd – its black with black vynal-like print on top) I’d definately do the bubble.
