I liked this pattern and was pleased at how it easy it was to work with. The only thing I noticed was the pattern photo shows the model with the bag strap crossing the body like a messenger bag and what I have is a longer shoulder strap at best. Either she’s super skinny and I’m big (I’m a size 8), the pattern piece for the strap is smaller, or something wonky happened. No matter because I’m happy with the results and will probably use this pattern again. :)
I’ve had this Kokka Japanese fabric for a while and waited for the right project to use it, it actually looks like its the same one used by BurdaStyle! Also remnant faux suede, basic cotton poplin, remnant lingerie elastic, and 2 key chain rings were used. IKEA drawer liner plastic was used on the bottom for extra stability.
