This is a peplum top I entered into my school’s annual Pan African Night, an event held every year to celebrate different cultures from across the continent. I used a dark blue ponte knit for the sides of the top and the printed fabric is a beautifully simple ankara wax print that look like pale swirls on a dark blue background. The the bodice is fully lined as well and the half circle peplum in a light blue satin. To finish; I used a pretty metallic silver zipper. Modeled by my lovely twin sister :)
-this was the first fully drafted pattern I made myself during my pattern making class last year
-Ankara Wax
-Ponte Knit
-Interfacing
-Satin
-22 inch zipper
