My first try on making a padded underwired bra. I’m pretty happy with the result, so I’ll surely make more in the future. I made a low rise thong to match the bra. The set is made in a soft animal printed viscose fabric. For more photos check my Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/queenblingerie
viscose, stretch lace, shoulder straps, underwires, padding fabric, bows

Very nice indeed, looks like a professional one! It’s very addictive, isn’t it, making your own lingerie! Same here. If you speak/read Dutch, you can visit my website: www.creaBH.nl

I wouldn’t even think that you can make a bra on your own;P

that is absolutely beautiful— someone would pay a lot of money for a set like that! I would love to learn how to do this

Finding bra parts can be difficult, I buy most of them online. I use patterns made by my sewing teacher as well as commercial ones.

This is so great! I have just started making bras myself, though I am having trouble getting the special bits like the underwire casing and hooks and eyes :o( I am having to kill old bras for their bones and parts. Do you make your own patterns, or use commercial ones?
