I’ve wanted to make a sweetheart neckline dress for a while. I found the material at fabric by the pound while on vacation in alabama. I think it’s supposed to be curtain material, so it’s heavy and drapes nicely. I named it after Andie in Pretty in Pink, hoping that when I wear it I’ll find my Ducky…anyone else agree that Ducky’s the real catch here? Forget Blane..that’s not a name, that’s a major appliance.
Anyways, I drafted the bodice out of the coffee date dress pattern, and did some ge-o-metry for te circle skirt.
