i love greek mythology and watching the stars. one of my favorite greek myths is the one of andromeda and perseus. what can i say? i love love stories. =]
anyways, i was having a halloween party at my house, and i just had to have an amazing costume. i decided that i wanted to be the princess andromeda who was made into a constellation by the gods. so i went looking through the simplicity books for patterns that would fit a greek princess, and i found this. it doesn’t really fit, but i just couldn’t leave it once i’d seen it. i left out the panties and used a corset that i had made the year before for another halloween party (i’ll upload that creation later when i can find the pictures of it). i made a how-to for making the corset, if any of you had wanted to try it. http://www.burdastyle.com/howtos/show/767
originally, the lace i used was white with silver in it, but my costume was black, so i tried to dye the lace black and it turned out a little purple-ish-gray.
