I was really looking forward to this pattern and I believe it looks good on woman but as far as I can see it looks horrible on mean. it’s much too short and a bit too wide. seriously whose torso is that short? very great idea though and I didn’t mean to sound ungreatful. I’m usually very happy with your patterns.

A rib knit how to sounds great, Benedikta. I didn’t even know it was possible to make your own out of any fabric. I for one have been waiting ever since you mentioned it… ;)

    Hey Keltie,
Knit Ribs, especially in good colors, are incredibly hard to find. We are putting up a how to to teach you how to make your own rib knit, which will allow you to match exactly the knit that you are using for the body of the sweater.
Let me know if that sounds good, we will also do some research for online opportunities for rib knit and will bug our friends from Mood to put some online.
Check back for more and bug me if you don’t hear by Monday.

    Thanks
    B

I would love someone’s input on where to get a good rib knit. I ordered some from an online fabric store because none in my area had it. The knit was too small I want to get a clunkier pattern, kind of like in the sweater above.

Such a classic style and so totally cool. I love the grey – its such a classic color that can be dressed up or down.
I’d love to see that color sweater with a purple button down and khakis.

Would love to learn how to create ribbing too!

We are also working on a how to for rib knit. We know it is super hard to find good rib knit, therefore we wanted to show you how to make it yourself to make it in any color needed!!

Actually, good that you are saying it. It totally works for a girl as well. I am constantly wearing it in the office when I am cold and love how nice and comfortable it is. That made me think that I would love to make it for myself in a beautiful brown tone with big nice leather patches on the elbows…I anyways was thinking of wearing nice browns this fall. So far my wardrobe is not following suit though!
