I made this skirt out of Simplicity 2698. It is the fourth one that I have made from this pattern and I think, of them all, it is the best.
I french-seamed the whole garment, for the first time, and I love the results! I also gave it outer stitching, to give it a more professional look as well to hold the seams flat . I honestly could not be happier with this skirt!
It also has awesome pockets which make it a perfect sleuthing skirt!
Definitely a fave!

cute! I just made a similar length/shape skirt, but with a higher/thinner waistband out of vintage bedsheets!
