I made this dress in a cotton everyday fabric and it worked great. I had to resize it since I’m about a 32/34 and it was extremely easy to make the pattern smaller.

No matter if Benedikta is right or not, I really like the idea of adding small sleeves to this dress. :-) The fabric you used looks great, perfect for this pattern! And you obviously did great job on the resizing.

I like your take a lot. Did you actually extend the shoulder seam. It almost looks like you added small sleeves? adds to the look!
