Anda Dress Variation

Added Jul 27, 2008

by fashionandco...

Cardiff, United ...

A variation on the Anda dress, I slit the neckline, made an interfacing, dropped the waist and moved the ties from the front to each side and added simple kimono sleeves. The dress can be worn as a long loose kaftan, tied around the hips, or tied around the waist and bloused over to make a shorter dress / tunic top. Perfect for city or beach.

Material Notes

Printed viscose chiffon. Has a leaf print in greens. Ties are Patons cargo yarn in lilac.

Really pretty – I like this style of dress. I hadnt thought of doing it with the Anda pattern – I will have to give it a go.
