Another version of my self-drafted bubble pants seen previously here http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/bubble-pants—2
This time I used and existing Burda pattern in case somebody else wants to make one too, so it is easier to follow for a beginner. I used the Marlene Trousers 02/2013 #130 but I dropped all the pockets and waistband. Instead I added and extra 15-17 cm on each sides of the pants (outside not between the legs) and also added an extra 10cm to the waist (to make it high-waist ) I cut the legs short, I think mine is about 90cm long (I mean the trousers of course :) )
As for the waistband, I simply used a standard 8cm wide waistband, nothing fancy.
The top is made from a 50 cm long and a 120 or 140 cm wide rectangular shaped cotton crepe.
I was just messing around to be honest, I cut a hole for the neckline and folded the fabric on me under the bust to get the darts seen on the pictures. I cut the front of the bodice shorter than the back, kind of like a fishtail version of a skirt :)
The images may not do justice but the outfit looks striking on and super cute.
