Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I made my girlfriend’s daughter this pretty thing out of Vogue pattern V7819. The bodice is in simple satin with organza overlay and satin lining. The skirt is make with several layers of organza (I used 2 different colors) over a satin skirt. I embelished the dress with flowers and a beautiful strip of wide ribbon. The difficult part of this project……I did not have her measurements! I was guess-timating based on her aged and height! Haha – it turned out fine, thank goodness.

It did and I was so happy since she lives in a different country than I do – if it did not fit, I’d have to bring it home for alterations!

Thank you for your encouragement – it was a rush job too! I completed it in a day as I was flying off the next! Whew!
