Description
Years ago, I was given some Sari fabric from a hilarious old woman who was trying to marry me off as I was fabric shopping – flash forward to now and it’s been made into a dress!
This dress uses the bodice from Butterick B5880, omitting the neckline notches, and has a pleated dirndl instead of the sarong skirt – and pockets!
This is possibly my favourite me-made dress ever, it’s comfortable and easy to wear, and can easily look good dressed up or down – a winner in my eyes!
If you’d like to read any more on this dress, please have a look at my blog post
