Description

this project had cost me a lot of efford: making the pattern, a lot of handsewing, tailoring, alterations,…..
it could be better but I am not a professional. In the end, it is a pleasure to wear it and I got a lot of compliments at my graduation ceremony

Very well done, you did an excellent job, from my experience I know that to make men jacket takes a lot of time, custom made jacket is expensive, don’t know why stores give them so cheap. It looks very well done . Congratulation on your graduation.

Well done!! Your handwork is excellent (I love handwork. I pad stitch things that don’t even need it.). Nice textiles. Your sleeve caps look good, and the sleeves hang properly on your arm. Be proud when you wear it!

Thank you very much for yourkind words!!!
It was a great feeling to wear this suit, everything was selfmade, also shirt and tie. Waistcoat and pants are made of a 30 years old tweed I found in my mums closet, It was quiet difficult to find the matching fabric for the jacket. I wear it with proud! :-)

thank you for your kind words! When you practice enough, handmade buttonholes are much nicer than those of a machine. I put a blue thread under the stiches to make it more vivid, unfortunatly you can’t see it on the photo.
succes with your pattern making business!
