Description

I’ve just finished the Abbey coat from independent pattern designer Jamie Christina. I can’t recommend the pattern highly enough, it’s excellent, and I’m so pleased with the flattering fit. I used a thick wool for the main coat fabric and a lovely teal polka dot lining for the inside. I made bound buttonholes for the first time ever, which I’m SO proud of! I love the result and can’t wait to wear it this autumn. More construction details and photos on my blog

    Your coat not only looks gorgeus but also high quality, and you made a real good job with the button holes. I´m so scared of those. The colours are great too!
