Description

This crocheted cloche is a Christmas present for a friend of mine from work. She is so cute, so I thought this style of hat would suit her perfectly. The white yarn is 100% acrylic, and the blue yarn is 100% organic cotton. I know: “Why would you mix those two fibers?”. The answer: it was what I had on hand. I was making different hat and had spent a lot of time on it before deciding it was a lost cause and starting anew. I made this entire thing at work while performing my job while we were short staffed. Iā€™m just that awesome.

I read about 5 different hat patterns and just sort of mashed them together in my head. There are a lot of good cloche crochet patterns on crochetpatterncentral.com (I think that’s the name of the site).
