I made this HUGE bag using the Amy Butler Birdie Sling pattern that I bought on Etsy.
The bag is interfaced to death, so it’s holds its form nicely, and you can carry anything in here! It’s lined and accented with some polished cotton I acquired at my local Hancock fabrics.
It was very tedious cutting out all of the pieces, and ironing on the interfacing, but still worth all the trouble.
I love the faux-suede labels that I had made by etsy seller chicohope using my (poorly drawn) peacock.
My fabric is Amy Butler's Wildflowers in navy which I purchased from the lovely and helpful shop fabricsupplies (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5680709).\ It's lined and accented with some polished cotton I acquired at my local Hancock fabrics.

I really need it for fabric class and here where I live they don’t sell it here and my parents are all anti shopping online lol if you do could you please scan it somehow and email it to saraleena@rocketmail.com please or if you know anywhere I can find it on the internet that would be much appreciated.

Hey, I’m sorry, I would really love to help you but the pattern is copyrighted material and it’s not legal to copy it and pass it out. I wish I could :)
Instead, maybe you could use a different purse pattern? here are some links to free ones on the internet:

Hope that helps! Good luck.

Did you have any issues with the upper band fitting tog with the bag portion of this pattern? I am making it up and the pcs don’t seem to match perfectly, maybe I was sleepy while cutting and made some mistake. Anyways I love how your bag turned out, great fabric choice!

OMG! I have just made the same pattern in the same fabric! Used denim for the band, handle and lining so it looks almost the same from the outside. You’re right about the interfacing – tedious but worth it. It looks great! Well done!
