I altered the Simplicity 5516 Juniors Halter top to make this button down creation. Buttons were recycled from a vest. I wanted to dress it up a little bit. I also had to increase the bust area to make it fit better, not allowing the bust to be smashed out. I also eliminated the elastic back, making the blouse fitted. I also made a dress with contrasting mid-riff from the recycled vest material. Dress is fitted, and has ties to make a little more snug.
Cotton, stretch lingerie satin for lining in the bust, recycled buttons from a vest.

Both pieces turned out beautifully. I don’t have any altering skills (yet), so I really admire the fact that you did such a nice job of it. Love dots, love black & white!
