Description

I love black and white together so I use these two 1 yd pieces of silky free flowing fabrics to created a one piece look. I called it alot going on because the top has three rows of ruffles at the front and standing collar with ruffles. Instead of a regular cap sleeve I did armbands with shirring for the sleeves.

The skirt has 4 – 5 tucks at the sides and a 8" gather in the center and the bottom for both front and back. It gives the skirt a very drape look and provide free wavy movement. I use elastic casing at the waist.

For incorporating all these techniques/styles into one I believe the look come out pretty good, although the back looks a little baggy to me.

What do you think?

Hi kisses! I saw the back side is a little baggy but it’s fine. This outfit is lovely with a lot of cute details. I love those ruffles, those tuck on the skirt and the matching shoes. You are so cool!

I am sitting in front of my computer wearing black and white and with a pair of red shoes!!! Great minds think alike but I certainly do not look as lovely as you in your gorgeous dress. I really love the top; that would make such a pretty blouse. This dress is a classic and you won’t want to have this missing from your closet.

Thanks Schnui :-) Indeed great minds think alike. I know you look gorgeous in your black and white also. The top is very pretty and it would look perfectly as a blouse alone
