I love black and white together so I use these two 1 yd pieces of silky free flowing fabrics to created a one piece look. I called it alot going on because the top has three rows of ruffles at the front and standing collar with ruffles. Instead of a regular cap sleeve I did armbands with shirring for the sleeves.
The skirt has 4 – 5 tucks at the sides and a 8" gather in the center and the bottom for both front and back. It gives the skirt a very drape look and provide free wavy movement. I use elastic casing at the waist.
For incorporating all these techniques/styles into one I believe the look come out pretty good, although the back looks a little baggy to me.
