Actually this isn’t really a winter dress (at least it’s lined) – it should have long sleeves, but the fabric wasn’t enough . At the beginning I saw this beautiful japanese fabric (last picture) and wanted to sew a simple dress (something like the alecat-dress), but the fabric was only enough for a skirt. The striped fabric for the upper part was also just a little piece, so I decided: It’s again Danielle (without pleats) and with short puff sleeves. To make something different I split the bodice and add brown piping at the edges, the under-bust-seams and the neckline. Actually the buttons should be brown, but I haven’t found nice ones yet.

I love this version! The different fabrics make it a lot more interesting, and I raise my hat to anyone who’s able to make piping! :)
