I was very excited when I finished this top. I had visions of all the interesting skirts and pants I could pair it with. This was supposed to be wearable for the fall. However, I have learned it is imperative to add at least an inch or two for seam allowances. Having those extra inches would allow me to be able to put it on over my head without having to squeeze my already small frame into it. It is now being used as a template for another top. I guess really this top is my prototype.
I must confess, to get it off, I had my mother help me pull it off!
Lesson learned: Add a couple of inches for comfort and ease.
Just cotton fabric and matching cotton thread.

Thank you both of you. I did have much fun making it. AnaJan, it is very skin-tight. I don’t like to clothing that tight. However, that is an interesting idea that I’ll try for the next top. :D

The top is lovely. You could add a hidden zipper on the side seam, that would allow you to easily slip in it. It would be petty not to wear it.
