I made this bolero jacket just guessing how am I gonna make the embroided part?. For this creation I ussed the basic pattern for coats publised on Burda Easy Fashion fall 2006.
I just changed the sleeves and do not put collar on.
The emrboided was completely my idea. I just started drawing on the fabric and tried to keep the same design on every side.
For doing it, I used normal thread sewing machine and I made it by hand. I akso tried to maintain the same colors of the original.
Golden bottons and the same embroided design for sleeves and neckline.
Difficult… I don’t think so, but it takes a lot of time and patient.
Embroided isn’t exactly one of my dearest task but I think I have kept something from 13 year in a catholic school. (nons are very demanding when it comes to embroid). Well, thanks to all of them I can present to you the results.
I wear it the same way that Sienna Miller did.
Burda Easy Fashion and to me for the incredible patient and time it took
