Almost Paisley

Added Jan 18, 2008

This is my second Michelle. I made this without the contrasting hem. I love this pattern because of its volume and shape.

Material Notes

paisley-like pattern printed satin polyester and cupro (for the lining)

Thanks, Burdastyle!

I have been looking at everyone’s version of the Michelle and have decided to make one too. Just bought my fabric yesturday. It’s not as fun as your fabric, but I hope it looks as good as yours. I might leave off the contrast, not sure yet. We’ll see what happens. I’ll post my results as soon as I get a camera.

It’s nice to see a take on the Michelle without the contrast— you really get a feel for the shape of the skirt that way. Nice work!
