Description

The front draping is always in fashion so we can say it’s classics. There are a lot of variants of them and everybody can choose the one as for the taste. Mine was made by the pattern from Burda 12/2005, #110. I used the top part then just lengthened it and widened on the bottom for comfort walking.

This tunic is loose enough to dress without a zipper. As my source of inspiration was the Ancient Greek clothes, I added two narrow belts sewed in the side seames to get fitting.
It is very simple and quick to make.

Material Notes

Stretch cotton and rayon blend with coupon print.

It is delightful and as always you are a very pretty and well dressed lady! Turning the top part of the pattern into a dress was a great idea, and it works well with the ties. With your fabric choise and your designing decisions you acheived an impessive result! I love it!

Thank you for the nice comment:) Coupons is my weakness and they want something simple. I didn’t think a lot what to sew of the fabric: the idea was born right in the shop – I put the coupon to myself and it draped on its own. To tell the truth, I even didn’t pay attention at once that the fabric has elastic fibre. I saw it at home after washing the material before cutting:))
