Description

this is made out of second-hand grey twill, the grey twill is really thick so I was limited to what i could do…i didn’t want it to ending up like an army uniform.

i had a whole bnch of this folk inspired fabric, but it was made for quilting and was way too busy so i cut it into strips, steamed it then used it as a trim.

this was mady from a 1970’s pattern that i can’t recall the name of right now but i’ll probably re-post this bceause i may do a few more additions.

I really like it too – I love grey twill, yet I know what you mean about the whole army thing! The cool trim really makes it nice. I like this skirt very much! In fact I made a wrap grey twill for myself ages ago and popped some cool quilt ing fabric binding on it – so Darl, great minds think alike! Lovely job!
