I made this shirt for my cousin’s White Party Celebration for her 50th birthday. Although, the emphasis is all white, I wanted something with a little more spunk. Coincidently, I came across this beautiful jersey fabric and print with a white background, grey stripes (of different gradiations) and thin silver metallic threads. As much as jersey material is difficult to work with, I love to wear it and decided to use it regardless.
I definitely wanted a casual shirt that I could dress up.
Details include: white contrasting band (around the neck), snap buttons at chest, hidden arm straps (to adjust the sleeve length) and silver buttons.
I also altered the white pants I am wearing by taking in the seat of the pants and making the leg more skinny.
