♫ ♪ All In White
It’s very unusual for me to wear white.. This fabric was a find from the remnant box.. How could I ignore these cute retro bicycles?? Dyeing the fabric into any color was a big NO, because that way I would be left only with bicycle wheels on it..
For the dress I used the pattern #124 from Burda 05/2013.. I really liked the silhouette of the dress.. It was nice for a change to sew a V neckline and some part of the circle skirt.. And the fabric was perfect for this kind of a summer dress.. The fabric is very sheer rayon, but fully lined with lightweight white cotton.. After I’ve made the dress it occurred to me that it would look better if I used piping so all the parts of the bodice would be more noticeable.. I must remember that for all my future projects!!
