Description

I made this high-waist long skirt for a wedding, but have not come round to making a matching top yet. Any ideas?

It’s bright pink (Rasberry-ish) and makes me look super tall… and I’m only 5.2.

I will be wearing it for a wedding, so a white top will probably not work. But for another ocassion: YES! After I posted the skirt I found this version of the Lydia pattern – a lace 3/4 sleeve creation – which I think would work wonderfully. Not sure about color yet. Maybe a bright orange or softer pink’ish….

Great skirt. A white ruffled blouse or perhaps an elegant, deep burgundy shade that is slightly form fitting.

I love this! I wish I was daring enough to wear a full length skirt (especially one this bright) :) What a beautiful color! I agree – a simple white top would really let your skirt shine.

Looks really cool and the color is great! I’m thinking that a simple black or white top would be the best, so that the color of the skirt stays so bright and strong!
