..or Paper Doll-ed up, to be exact.
i’ve always had a thing for paper dolls…and working at a fabric store means easy access to cute fabrics like this one, which is a paper doll patterned cotton fabric. you can actually cut out the dolls & clothes and play with them if you want!
the detail on the hip part can be seen on the 2nd pic from the last. the band is actually like a tube, and then it’s pleated twice at the front and attached to the hip part of the coat on several parts. the rest of the band is just let loose.
all i can say is, thank heavens for paper dolls. thank heavens for fabrics like these. thank heavens for the Stylish Dress Book vol. 2 (L pattern, can be seen on the last pic).
2,5m of cotton fabric (110cm wide), 40cm of interface fabric, 2 plastic buttons (accessory), 7 snap buttons.

You work at a fabric store? Lucky! I loved paper dolls when I was younger. This coat is gorgeous!
