A lined, all-day bag with handy pockets, strong construction, and plenty of room. Made from Lotta Jansdotter’s Simple Sewing book. I’ve made a few of these patterns and they’re so simple but really classy. The pattern is just a series of rectangles so it would be easy to change the size, and there’s plenty of room for changes and ideas. Next time, I’d add clips for a long strap, as the small handles can’t fit on your shoulder. And a snap closure or something for the top, especially if I add the long strap, it would gap open.
I used a medium to heavy-weight upholstery fabric for the exterior and a plain cotton for the lining. Finished size is 14" wide x 10" tall x 6" deep.

I LOVE your bag! I have her book and have not done anything out of it…you have inspired me! What fabric did you use?
