Alice & Olivia dress! Vogue 1122

This is Vogue 1122, which is now out of print. I had been meaning to make it for over a year and then it sat around as a w.i.p. for another few months as I got sidetracked by many other projects. It’s really quite a simple dress to sew – had to take it in quite a bit. Also – it is definitely very short, so beware. I am so surprised that this pattern seems to have gotten so little attention! Only just recently did I find a single review of it. I’ve been hoping for ages that I could see the dress made on someone else. I really love the tucks and pleats! I encourage more sewers to try out this pattern!!

Your dress looks fantastic! I’m shocked this dress isn’t more popular — it’s so cute!

I’ve been sewing about 2 years, so I might be more of an advanced beginner? I think if you are pretty comfortable with basic techniques, you could handle this pattern. In my opinion, the instructions were straight forward. It wasn’t the quickest project, but nothing too tricky. Good luck!!
