Burda Style For people who sew

Oh boy! What a surprise huh? It looks like Alice is one of our greatests little girl’s dreams… And I ain’t different! :) I really wanted to start my “cosplay career” (Haha!) with an Alice in wonderland dress! Oh yes! I’m so happy I did!
The dress is based on a japanese pattern (gothloli mag) of gothic lolita dress, I kept the pattern but choose very different fabrics indeed!
This dress is entirely made of recycled fabrics : old sheet, old men shirt, curtains, old laces, pearls. That made the dress very very cheap!!! I’ve spent 10€ on new pearls, buttons and zipper, cool huh?

Very lovely. It’s not as simple as a Disney Alice in Wonderland cosplay and the details still fit her personality. I especially like that all the fabric is recycled!
