A freinds wedding in Ireland at the beginning of September & at the last minute decided to make something. I knew I wanted to make it but hadnt decided on a style & only had a few hours to rustle it up. So I ended with this – completely from scratch.
I decided to sew up a bow & popped it onto the back.
The bride said it reminded her of alice in wonderland – which made me super happy.
A simple bodice – the bust darts go from the middle to nipple in a V shape for fun, waistband, inverted box pleats & then the silverish border at the bottom was sewn with a twist in it to make it super poufy.

Thats an amazing dress! It reminds me of Alice in wonderland too, but a more modern version. Great job, and you made it so quick! Good on you! Wish I was good as you.
