I took the Alexander blouse patterns and altered it into a dress! Changes including – adding a wedge to the outer sleeve so both the front and back are on grain, adding a pleated skirt, raising the waist seam by a few inches, turning the back buttoning into a zipper, and narrowing the facings. Oh, and I left off the peplum and belt on this version, too!

Very cute. I’m about to make this, too, but I keep putting it off because I’m afraid of what it will do to my hips. A dress variation is the perfect solution!
