A halter top I made using New Look 6464, View C. It was super simple. Only two pieces—the front and the back. And I made a strap by cutting a strip of fabric on the bias and sewing a narrow tube. The pattern called for using ribbon for the strap, but I thought that would look too homemade. I like the fabric strap much better. I love this top so much that I’m going to make many more out of different fabrics. I’m also going to try some of the other views.

This is the first time I’ve seen another person use this fabric. The design you chose shows it off gorgeously! :)

that’s so cute! and it looks really good on you too! the fabric is gorgeous, and I definitely agree with using fabric rather than ribbon.

Cute top, I was going to try this without a pattern, but using better judgement, will use the one you did!

Absolutely Beautiful!!! Love the fabric and it looks great on you! I think I will try this one. I have been searching for an easy, nice top for myself and my daughter and I think I have found it here, thanks. This would make a nice dress too!
