I found this super silky fabric at JoAnn’s and had to have it ALL! I bought all that was left and then came home and tried to come up with ways to make it into something. I’ve been wanting a shirt that I can just throw on when I’m in a hurry that pulls together a pair of jeans and flats. I created a pattern with that in mind that featured loose, fluttered sleeves, a simple neckline and a fitted bust that flows out, babydoll style. The back is lower than the neckline and is tucked, creating a cascading effect with the fabric. I hope to make more of these out of different prints.
I’ve worn this six times already, and I absolutely love it.
