I found some wool coating on clearance for 8$ a yard, and figured i’d make Alex a coat. I used the simplicity 2526 pattern, with a few alterations. I took it in on the sides for a more fitted look, as well as lengthing it by 5/8 of an inch, i also changed it to double breasted, changed the pockets added cuffs and a stand up collar, as well as a few other embelishments, its also fully lined. It took me about 2 days to finish and i’m really happy with the results! My brother wants one too now! the jackets was still alittle linty when i took the pics so ignore the little red specks!
