Description

I made this for a friends wedding. Found the instructions towards the end impossible to follow so ended up improvising with the help of Mum. Also shortened it as original length I found to be pretty frumpy looking on me. I absolutely love the end result and received a lot of positive comments. Was devastated when a waitress pored the remainder of my boyfriends gravy from sit down dinner all down the skirt. F.Y.I fairy liquid rubbed in and then rinsed out is magic on grease stains.

Material Notes

Coral satin For the under dress, coral chiffon for the overdress. 2 blue and gold tear drop sew on embellishments.

I always thought this would look beautiful made up and I was right! This dress looks really lovely on you and I’m so glad it survived the gravy!

This dress looks lovely on you, I can see why you got lots of compliments on it! I hope you told them all that you made it yourself! Good for you to take on this designer pattern, and thanks to Mum for the construction help! I’m glad that the gravy stain came out as I’m sure you will get the opportunity to wear this again. Nice job!
