Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Silk chiffon bought from ebay was indeed difficult to work with.
Even though dress looks voluminous it is in fact very fitted on the waist
I was inaccurate in my initial gathering of fabric, resulting was 4" too small and I couldn’t button up!
Unpicking silk chiffon was definitely not fun, so a word of advise is to gather accurately as per instructions!!
Use silk chiffon only as the material adds up to many layers at the centre of waist.
