I found this white jersey with tiny black polka dots at a French thrift store and decided to make a dress with it. I dug through my stock of vintage patterns and chose the unlikely Butterick pattern 3160 which is actually a pattern for a night-time robe with big sleeves with buttons all the way down the front to the hem. I stopped the buttons at the waist and got this comfy thing. The jersey was difficult to work with, hard to hem, it’s a little crunkled as the photos show.

could use elastic (or vilene bias tape?) on the bottom hem in the same way that you (I think) used it on the hem of the sleeve. That will weigh down the fabric

Very nice, creative and comfortable. How about a narrow hem, as on the sleeves?

Great job, love to see someone coming up with what’s on hand and making it work.
