A variation of AnaJan’s African Dress that I made for my sister. I altered the top, made slits in the front, and lowered the back.

Wooow! Your alterations and the fabric really made this dress. It’s gorgeous, and your sister is one lucky girl! Beautiful frock!

Thank you fabricitis ;)
It’s actually my sister in the pic, she needed a mud cloth dress to wear to an upcoming event. I remembered how much I liked AnaJan’s African dress and everyone’s variations, so I decided to try it. I’m so glad it worked out cuz it’s the first piece of real clothing I’ve ever completed, I had like 5 days until the event, and mud cloth fabric isn’t cheap ($60).
