A classic revisited, in between the cardigan and the jacket, I redrafted Idit pattern, straightening the front lines and shaping a sailor collar/opening. I later found out that the Talea coat pattern had all the features I needed to create this garment. I hand knitted the handcuffs and waistband, sewn golden ribbon at the edge of the upper collar part. I want to explore the ways to combine sewing and knitting. Creating your own ribbing is the way forward!

Love the ribbon detailing and the ribbing is really seamless. It’s kind of like a mix between a cropped pea coat, with bomber ribbing and a knit cardigan! Gold and navy blue is an underrated combination. Great job!
