Nashville, Tenne...

Over the last week I spent all my time: a)studying for exams b) making x-mas presents and c) making this sweatshirt.
The fabric I used was completely free so I wasn’t afraid of screwing it up, since I had so much left. It took about a week to finish and my seams are a bit messy (i need practice) but overall, it looks like something I bought as long as you don’t look too close!
The patches were given to me by a friend who got me a Microcosm book for my birthday and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them once I found the fabric.

Material Notes

cotton blend jersey, patches

Shelby, for the great b-day present!

The Human Sciences lab at the university for giving away so much fabric.

It looks great! I love the colors and the patches. (Your seams don’t look messy in the photos, so I agree – it looks like ready-to-wear!) :)
