This was my 2nd ever clothing creation and the only one I’ve ever worn!! I saw IchiGoGirl’s pattern and thought that it looked simple enough for me to make. I don’t have a sewing machine so made it all by hand and didn’t realise until the end that it was way too small!!! oops so I had to improvise a little with the back fastening and decided to do corset lacing.
Cotton - Baseball print (meant for boys but I really liked it!) and red ribbon.

Sewing the pleat really wasn’t that bad as I used a roll of red ribbon, so only had to sew down one side to hold the pleats together! Thanks again for the comments!!

Great job..I also made this top and discovered it was too small. Great idea with the corset back. I can’t believe you did it all by hand!
