Burda Style For people who sew
Description
My second attempt at making the Colette Rooibos dress. The pattern is so easy to follow, and I love the result! I made a bit of a booboo on the piping on the collar (lack of concentration and common sense meant I cut the piping off so the ends were showing on the right side) but a little bit of cotton thread and hand sewing fixed that. I also had trouble getting the zip in with the thickness of the piping, but all in all I’m pretty pleased with the way it came together.

Material Notes
Cotton (very soft to the touch – perhaps silk or sateen mix if such a thing exists) from Goldhawk Road.
Red polycotton lining
Red piping (not self made because I was feeling very lazy :-))
