Description

My second attempt at making the Colette Rooibos dress. The pattern is so easy to follow, and I love the result! I made a bit of a booboo on the piping on the collar (lack of concentration and common sense meant I cut the piping off so the ends were showing on the right side) but a little bit of cotton thread and hand sewing fixed that. I also had trouble getting the zip in with the thickness of the piping, but all in all Iā€™m pretty pleased with the way it came together.

Material Notes

Cotton (very soft to the touch – perhaps silk or sateen mix if such a thing exists) from Goldhawk Road.
Red polycotton lining
Red piping (not self made because I was feeling very lazy :-))
