Description

Simple summer skirt, I used Neue Mode pattern 23254. The colourful fabric is double sided wax printed cotton, originally meant for traditional clothes of “well-to-do African women, who often have their clothing made by a personal tailor (says the fabric website).”
I am none of that, but I do adore those designs!

Material Notes

Double sided wax printed cotton (Vlisco)

NIce skirt! Love the material and Vlisco for that matter. :) Seeing that you live in Helmond, have you ever been to the Vlisco boutique? I’d love to go but apparently their opening hours are Monday through Friday, which doesn’t really work for me. Would love to hear what it’s like though.

The shop is really nice, but you could also try their online shop, I do not have any experience with that one though.

Great placement of fabric details, would you share the website?
